Sales RVP - National Medical Sales - California

Location: Aligned to an Elevance Health office, with a hybrid work schedule. Travel of 50%-70% will be required. Candidate needs to reside in CA.

Responsible for directing sales and retention strategy for large complex accounts. Our ideal candidate has a proven track-record in generating new business, broker/client/consultant relations and partner collaboration. Typical group size is 2,500+ eligible or enrolled subscribers

How you will make an impact:

• Directs and coordinates account sales activities related to medical, wellness, and specialty product sales.

• Supports account finalist opportunities for new sales and account management.

• Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure profitable growth.

• Develops strategies and executes sales plans to achieve membership growth and financial goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license required.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Excellent managerial and leadership skills and extensive knowledge of local and national markets and health insurance sales including direct to employer sales is highly preferred.

• Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.

• Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, MS Teams and Salesforce highly preferred

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $154,160 to $277,488
